George, thank you for embracing me as an equal while on the 928th Fire Department. You were a great leader and teacher. I will never forget you or your knowledge. Your laughter and fun stories. I will never forget George. His fantastic smile, jokes and laughter around the firehouse still resonate. I worked with George for a number of years at NAS Glenview, he was such a serious individual when it came to responding to alarms, but at other times had the whole shift in laughter. It has been a honour to be George's friend, RIP and will see you again someday my friend!!
