Obituary
Wayne G. Maas Sr., 83, of Crystal Lake passed away at his home on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
He was born on September 6, 1939 in Chicago to Fred and Dorothy (Lucas) Maas. He married Barbara Lee Stevenson on May 5, 1963 in Chicago.
Mr. Maas was a veteran, serving in the US Army during the Korean War. He had worked for many years at T.C. Industry in Crystal Lake.
He is survived by his wife, two children, Wayne G. Maas Jr., Melissa (Edward) Schumacher; six great grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy Wiora; and a sister, Kathy (Joe) Korpalski.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lee, and his father.
Interment will be announced at a later date.
