Walter F. O'Grady

Walter F. O’Grady born on December 4, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to William F. and Marie L. O’Grady passed away peacefully at Crossroads Care Center on January 30, 2018.

Walter was a banker for 15 years.  He also was a well respected history teacher with McHenry County College for 6 years.

Walter was very involved with the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hartland as a cantor for many years.  He was an avid golfer and a man of many interests.  Most importantly, he was a loving and devoted husband.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Vogt) O’Grady.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 15102 St. Patrick Road, Hartland.  The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am.

Interment services will be private.
