Thomas A. Schuler Jr.

On behalf of his family, we are sad to announce the passing of Thomas Alan Schuler Jr. of Marengo. He passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 47.

Tom was loved by everyone who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his children, Emily, Leanna, and Tyler Schuler, his parents, Denise Rea (Preston) and Thomas Schuler Sr., his siblings, Donna Gibbons (Chris), Danny Schuler (Tanya), Rachel O’Brien (Pat) and Bill Schuler (Marguerite), grandson Elijah Schuler (Lauren), nieces and nephews, Alex, Hayley, Jazzy, Allie Nathan, Audrey, Avery, Lane, Ashleigh, Brandon, Jacob, Adelynn, and Raevyn, and many more friends/family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Frank and Marie Schuler (Gene), and maternal grandparents Deane and Dorothy Goldstein.

There will be a Gathering of Friends and Relatives at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock on November 30, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Funeral Service at 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, we ask you to donate to a Suicide Prevention charity like Alliance of Hope, Hope for the Day, or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Thank you.
