Theodora "Teddi" Nemmers

Theodora Regina “Teddi” Nemmers passed away peacefully May 16, 2022. Teddi was born February 27,1932 in Chicago to Charles Cronis and Elsa (Edelmann) Cronis.

Teddi and her husband Bill lived in rural Woodstock since 1983. Teddi loved being a homemaker, gardening preserving foods and entertaining friends; as well as raising numerous goats as pets. She taught piano for many years, and was a voracious reader who could recall the many eras of western civilization, especially from her beloved Greek heritage.

Teddi was cared for in her final years by her lifelong friends and her many 'loving angels' from Resurrection Catholic Church as well as her wonderful caregivers.

She is survived by her cousin, Russell (Patricia) Gager, her sisters in law, Kay Morrow and Christine (Greg) Schmeig; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 48 years, William “Bill” Nemmers.

Mass of the Resurrection to be held at Resurrection Catholic Church, 2918 Country Club Rd Woodstock on May 31, 2022 at 11:00AM.

Internment will be at St. Patrick's Church Cemetery in Hartland.

Memorials may be made to Resurrection Catholic Church Outreach Program or Journey Care Hospice.
