Obituary

Susan Hay, 71, of Woodstock, passed away November 20, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

She was born on January 18, 1951 in Woodstock to Donald and Agnes (Diedrich) Hay.

Susan grew up in Woodstock, attending St. Mary Catholic School and then Woodstock High School. She worked for the McHenry County Court House for many years as well as Crystal Pines rehabilitation and health center as a bookkeeper for 13 years. She volunteered for the Senior Care Volunteer Network, as a care giver too many seniors helping them with their appointments. She enjoyed attending bingo at Marian Central High School every week as well as needle point. She was an animal lover and was a loving sister and aunt.

She is survived by her siblings, Leonard (Sandra) Hay of Tennessee, Ronald Hay of Woodstock, Mary (Ricardo) Rodriquez of Woodstock and Donald Hay of Woodstock; nieces and nephews, Nicholas Rodriquez, Thomas Rodriquez, Tiffany Albrecht, Brett Reid; great nieces and nephews, Myia Rodriquez, Ella May Rodriquez, Haley Rodriquez, Makenna Rodriquez, Richie Rodriquez and good friend Vivian Vonduyn.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 pm at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave Woodstock, IL 60098. Interment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
