Shirley M. Rathmann

Shirley M. Rathmann, 92, of Woodstock, passed away on January 23, 2020.

She was born January 19, 1928 in Chicago Illinois to John and Helen (Radloff) Baldauf.  She married William “Bill” Rathmann Jr. in 1949.  He precedes her in death.

Mrs. Rathmann grew up in Chicago, later moving to Lake In The Hills to raise her family.  She had been a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Woodstock.  She enjoyed playing all kinds of games with her friends and family; cards, scrabble, pinochle, and poker just to name a few.  She also enjoyed taking cruises and vacations with her friends.

She is survived by her children, Gary (Cheryl) Rathmann, Randy (Susan) Rathmann, Vicki Ehlers; grandchildren, Larry Ehlers, Erich (Sarah) Rathmann, Nicole (Keith) Sphar; and great grandchildren, Jaxson, Charleigh, Emaleigh, and Chase.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home in Woodstock from 10:00 am until the Memorial Service at 11:00 am.  Interment services will be private.
