Sheila Tracy

Sheila Tracy, 65, of Wonder Lake passed away July 25, 2023, with her family by her side.

 She was born November 25,1957 in Woodstock to Raymond and Gloria (Harvey) Streit.

 She was always caring for others. Helping others is what she loved to do. She was a very compassionate woman always willing to help others even if it meant that she had to go without. For many years she donated her time as a volunteer for the Bread Ministry at the Woodstock Bible Church. She loved being with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandma, GG, and sister. Family was everything to her.

 Sheila is survived by her daughters, Angela (Chris) Gavers and Teresa Tracy; son-in-law, Tim Pittman; six grandchildren, Gloria Tracy, Whisper Pittman, Sky Pittman, Brittany Clemons, Kaylie Gavers, and Dillon Gavers; nine great grandchildren, Cayden, Bryleigh, Briella, Dalton, Leah, Lake, Lian, Ashton and Elliot.  Also surviving are nine siblings, Ricky Streit, Bryan Streit, Christine Young, Valerie Allen, Vickie Dale, Roxy Huizar, Connie (Dale) Bye, Kelly (Debbie) Streit, and Keith (Rita) Streit as well as many nieces and nephews.

 She is proceeded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sheila Pittman; brother, Michael Streit; a sister, Sandy Laws and her life companion Rudy Torres.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Avenue, Woodstock.  All other services will be private.
