Sharon Browne

Sharon Browne, age 85, of Woodstock, IL passed away on Tuesday March 16, 2021 She was born January 4, 1936, to Rudolph and Esther Kren. She was married to Chuck Browne on November 20, 1971.

Sharon graduated from the University of Wisconsin­-Milwaukee, with a degree in Education. She taught at Fisher Elementary School in Wauwatosa, WI. Over the years, she and her family lived in Arlington Heights, IL, Evansville.IN, Franklin, WI, Brentwood, TN, Peachtree City, GA, and Woodstock, IL.

She enjoyed having fun with her three grandsons, and her winter vacations with her husband in the desert of southern California. She loved playing golf and hit three holes-in-one at Rancho Casa Blanca Golf Course in Indio, CA. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Woodstock.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years, Chuck, and two children. Michael (Brigid), Park Ridge, IL, and Amy, Denver, Co. Grandsons Hayden, Patrick, and Brendan Browne. Sister-in-­law, Joan Holman and brother Bruce Kren.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday March 22, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N Seminary Ave Woodstock IL 60098. The funeral will be at St. Mary Church, 312 Lincoln Avenue, Woodstock, on Monday, March 22, at 11 am with Fr. Burt Absalon officiating.
