Sandra J. Messer

Sandra J. Messer, 67, of McHenry IL passed away at her home on Monday October 10, 2022.

She was born in Elmhurst, IL on June 14, 1955 to Richard K Messer Sr. and Elizabeth “Betty” J (Korth) Messer.

Throughout Sandy’s life she worked as a caregiver and a baker. Sandy had many hobbies and interests such as ceramics, jewelry making, country music, visiting the Northwoods of Wisconsin, bingo and collecting dolls. She was adored by all of her many nieces and nephews and had a gift of taking care of children. Sandy also had a love for animals especially her dog. 

Sandy is survived by her eldest sister; Sherry Lynn Johnson, two brothers; Kenneth Messer and Robert (Kim) Messer and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She has been reunited in heaven with her parents along with her brother; Richard Messer and two sisters; Julie (Frank) Tomlanovich and Joyce Messer.
She was a wonderful, kind soul that will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St John’s Preschool of Woodstock and would be greatly appreciated. 

A Memorial Service will be held at St John’s Lutheran Church of Woodstock on Saturday October 22, 2022 at 11:00 am followed by a luncheon.
