Obituary
Samantha Anne King, Age 26, born August 19, 1995 passed away unexpectedly January 12, 2022.
Samantha received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and was currently pursuing her Occupational Therapy Assistant Degree at McHenry County College. Samantha had a love for children and a passion for helping them learn and grow. This passion was always evident in her 8 years working as an early childhood teacher at House of Children and her many years of service as a coach for the Illinois Special Olympics.
Samantha is preceded in death by her father, Steven King; and is survived by her mother, Diane (Becks) King; siblings Joshua King, Delaney King, Emmalei King, Christopher King; and nieces and nephew Peyton King, Skylar King & Landon King.
There will be a private service for immediate family only, and a Celebration of Life is planned for Samantha later in 2022 for her family, friends and all who loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Samantha’s name to the Illinois Special Olympics on their main website. https://www.soill.org/
