Richard W. Munn

Richard W. Munn, 77, of Woodstock, passed away peacefully at his home in Woodstock on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

He was born in Lincoln, Illinois on June 7, 1943 to George and Cleone (DuCharme) Munn.

He was lovingly known as “Coach”. Richard was the Head Football Coach at St. Teresa Catholic High School in Decatur from 1968 until 1973. He earned a Masters Degree in Education and taught for many years in the area. He loved the outdoors and lived for many years in the Colorado Mountains; and enjoyed collecting antiques and wood working.

He is survived by three children, David Munn, Lisa (Kevin Renth) Bradley, Suzy (Patrick) Mahoney; five grandchildren, Amanda and Jessica Bradley, Kyle Spencer, Peyton and Reese Mahoney; two brothers, Dan (Diane) Munn and Dean (Toni) Munn and sister Carol (Don) Steingreaber.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, David Munn and Donald Munn.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
