Paul Streit Obituary

Paul E. Streit 96 of Cary passed away on Sunday January 3, 2021 at his home in Cary.

He was born on November 12, 1925 in Harvard to Joe and Paulina (Keller) Streit. He married Armilla J. Shafer on June 28, 1947.

He was the owner and operator of Streits Auto Body in Cary. He served with the United States Marines in the Philippines and China. He was a boxer for the Marine Corp during his spare time.

He is survived by his wife of 74.5 years Armilla; a son Daniel Streit; two grandsons Daniel (Kathy) Streit Jr., and Dillon (Michelle) Streit; six great grandchildren Paton, Hanna, Harper, Maxton, Malayna and Maven.

He was preceded in death by a son Paul Streit Jr.; a daughter in law Cindie Streit.
