Lorinda L. Koch

Lorinda L. Koch 66, passed away peacefully on June 20th, 2022. She was Born on July 27, 1955 to Odis and Wilma (Knudsen) Moore in Woodstock, IL.

She married James Koch on May 1, 1976. They were married 41 years.

Lori worked at the McHenry County Government Center, in the records dept. for 28 years. After Lori’s retirement in 2015, she enjoyed spending her time quilting, painting and crafting. She enjoyed most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Lorinda is survived by her children, Jaime Koch (Deb Zappa), Jeremy (Jessica) Koch and Courtney (Adam) Lockinger. She adored all her grandchildren, Bailey Koch, Madysen Lockinger, Ethan Koch, Eli Lockinger, and Maeva Koch. She is also survived by her sister and best friend Margene (Ted) Poulos, and brothers Michael (Sheree) Moore and Rick (Wendy) Moore. She had many cherished nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Jimmy in 2017. They are undoubtedly rejoicing at their reunion. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held on July 31, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Emricson Park at the Hilltop Pavilion. A graveside service will be held at the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock on August 1, 2022 at 11:00 am. ALL ARE WELCOME.
