Obituary

Larry F. “Piet” Pietrzak, age 81, passed away January 5, 2022 in Wonder Lake with his family by his side.

He was born on August 10, 1940 in Chicago, the son of Francis and Julie (Mirocha) Pietrzak. He married Virginia Evans on December 26, 1965.

Larry worked in the Electrical Motor Industry for many years in the Chicago land area including, WW Grainger and Molon Motors in Arlington Heights.

Larry loved playing golf and was the general manager for Chapel Hill Golf Course in Johnsburg for many years as well as a ranger and starter at Blackstone Golf Course in Marengo. He enjoyed boating on Wonder Lake and loved being with his family and friends.

Larry is survived by his son’s, Christopher L. Pietrzak, Michael J. Pietrzak and David W. (Melissa) Pietrzak; two grandchildren, Larissa Anne Pietrzak and Lynsie Marie Pietrzak, a brother, Jack and sister Barbara Sczybowicz.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, his parents and daughter-in-law Lorelee Pietrzak.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 10:00am until the service at 12:00pm at Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N Seminary Ave Woodstock Il 60098.
