Laine Nomm Berlin Obituary

Laine Nomm Berlin, 87, of Woodstock passed away on November 27, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Berlin; parents Jaan and Aliide Nomm; sister Tiiu Vigil; and son-in-law Tom Kotz.

Born October 4, 1934 in Viljandi, Estonia, Laine was a loving family matriarch and an avid gardener who never failed to show her affection for her family and her flower garden. After meeting at Woodstock High School, she married her late husband Rex Berlin in 1956. They spent many years traveling together and hosting friends and family in their beloved Woodstock home.

Laine is survived by her children Sharon Kotz, Kirk (Tammy) Berlin, and Richard (Gina) Berlin; her nine grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.

A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
