Juanita (Blazer) Lee

Juanita Lee, 74, of Woodstock passed peacefully Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital.

She was born June 11, 1949 to Edward and Dorothy (Mattison) Blazer. She married Nolen Lee on October 27, 2001.

For 30 years she was a faithful employee of Nissan Fork Lift in Marengo. In 2010 she was named Employee of the Year. She was an animal lover who loved cooking, sewing, making crafts and hosting parties and family get togethers. When asked, she said her family is what she is most proud of. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a vibrant spirit. She was loved and will be missed terribly.

She is survived by her brother Russell (Phyllis Nelson) Blazer; two sons Charles (Judy) Crout and Mathew Chavera; daughter Theresa (Timothy Allison) Crout; step children Travis (Amy) Lee; Dana (Andy) Masur and Kasey (Tom) Matthews.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Renee (John) Oleson; Cerise, Mykel, Fischer, and Coleman Lee; Freya and Lucien Masur; two great-grandchildren, Isabella, and Theodore Oleson, and her granddog, Finnegan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her brother Richard.
