Johanna Foresman

Johanna Foresman, 93 of Woodstock passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Northwestern Hospital – Huntley.

She was born in Chicago on August 14, 1929 to Frank and Johanna (Eier) Kamper.

For many years she worked as an X-ray Technician and later for Benoy Motors for many years. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and Bears fan to the end.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas Foresman and Richard Foresman; three daughters, Kathleen (Charles) Payette, Laura (Steven) Bussey, Anne Marie (Darrel) Bowen; nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Patricia Foresman.

The Visitation will be held at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Avenue, Woodstock on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Avenue in Woodstock. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Woodstock.

In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to St. Mary Catholic Church would be appreciated.
