Obituary
Janet Rae Yearton, 82, of Woodstock, passed away on Saturday May 6, 2023 at her home in Woodstock.
She was born July 30, 1940 in Woodstock to Gordon and Dorothy Botts. She married Richard H. Yearton on June 13, 1959.
Mrs. Yearton was employed at Botts Welding during her younger years working with her mother in the office. She also waitressed at Pizza Hut, A & W and Three Brothers. Janet’s last profession was Doctor of Naturopathy Dietician.
She is survived by her husband Richard; sons, Charles A (Benitta) Yearton, Richard S. (Monica) Yearton; daughter, Kimberly K. Medelberg; grandchildren, Jonathon A. (Hailey) Yearton, Victoria (Jonathan) Bourdon, Rene (Darren) Dubiel, Shawnae Yearton, Lauren (Adam Berg) Medelberg, Luke Medelberg; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Gordon (Leslie) Botts and a sister, Betty Parish.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Kathy Botts and Sandy Trachsel and a grandchild, Brandon Yearton.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday July 8, 2023 from 10:00 am until the Memorial Service at 11:00 am at the Schneider, Leucht, Merwin and Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Avenue in Woodstock. Interment will be in the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock.
