James Hallisy Obituary

James Francis Hallisy, age 82, of Hebron, passed away August 1, 2021 in McHenry.

James was born on June 8, 1939 in Harvard, the son of Francis and Anna (Lalor) Hallisy. He married Joanne Schoening on April 30, 1966 in Rockford.

James enjoyed farming in Hebron all his life. He served in the Army National Guard for four and a half years. He was the Vice President of the McHenry County Fair Association for 22 years and was the Director of the Farm Bureau for 2 years in Hebron.     

He is survived by his loving wife Joanne; son’s, Michael Hallisy and Mark Hallisy; brother, Thomas Hallisy; sister Kathleen Hallisy; brother and sister in-law’s, Mary Anna and Rudy, Dr. Joseph and Kathy, Fred and Pat, Franz and Maxine and Mary Jo as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in-law Stephen

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 9:30am until the Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic Church 312 Lincoln Ave Woodstock Il 60098.
