Helen R. Dallmann Obituary

Helen R. Dallmann, age 102, a long-time Janesville resident, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023, at Hearthstone Manor, Woodstock, IL.

Helen was born in Deronda, WI., on September 11, 1921, the daughter of Albert and Olga Emily (Anderson) Rustin.

Helen graduated from New Richmond High School (WI.) in 1939 and in 1943, from State Teachers College, River Falls, WI. Teaching in Edgerton, WI., she frequented the Dallman-Wileman Drug Store soda fountain where George "Bud" Dallmann served refreshments. Helen and Bud were married on June 25, 1949. They raised their daughter, Nancy, in Park Forest, IL., and later retired to Janesville, WI., in 1987.

Helen was very active at First Lutheran Church in Janesville. She served as a member of their Mary Circle and other outreach committees, well into her 9Os. She was known for having the coffee hot and ready for meetings.

In her final years, Helen enjoyed visits with her great grandson, Greyson. They shared a liking of Eric Carle books, Cheerios, and cheese.

Helen is survived by her husband of 74 years, George "Bud" Dallmann; daughter, Nancy (William) Bradley; grandchildren, Scot (Sarah) Bradley, Kelly (Nie) Parke, and Benjamin Bradley; great grandson, Greyson Bradley. Helen is also survived by her brother, Robert Rustin; brother-in-law, Richard (Geraldine) Dallman; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am at First Lutheran Church, 612 N Randall Ave, Janesville, WI. Services will be held at 10:30am. Following services, Internment prayers will be held at Fassett Cemetery, 2005 S Main St., Edgerton, WI. Use the Ebbott Dr. entrance and proceed past Robison Dr.
