Gordon T. Richardson, 61, of Woodstock passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Northwestern M4edicine Hospital Woodstock.
He was born February 8, 1962 in Chicago to George and Mae (Schneider) Richardson. He married Carol Spraetz on August 13, 2005.
Gordon had been employed as an Arborist for most of his life. His best friend was his dog Fergus.
He is survived by his mother, Mae Richardson; a brother, Douglas (Tracey) Richardson; brother-in-law Erich (Emily) Spraetz; sister-in-law Mary Williams; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his father; also, a niece, Lizzy Richardson.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday December 1, 2023 at the Schneider, Leucht Merwin and Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave. Woodstock from 10:00 to 12:00 noon. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
