Evelyn Eleanor Nash

Evelyn Eleanor Nash, 85, of Woodstock, IL passed away on May 2, 2021 under the care of Hope Hospice.

Evelyn was born in Burlington, WI to George and Helen Bieneman on February 9, 1936.  She went to school at St. Mary’s High School in Burlington.  She married John J. Nash Jr. on August 10, 1957 in Burlington, WI. In her life, she was a Lab Tech at Joslyn for 20+ years and she was a tax preparer at H&R Block for 30+ years.  She was involved in her community and her church, but her favorite pastimes were gardening and playing cards on her computer.

Evelyn is survived by her three daughters, Michelle (Bob) Larsen, Karen (Mitch) Moon, and Dominique (Nick) Nash; 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, her son, David Nash, her foster daughter, Denise Smith, and her sister Jean Lois. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 6 at Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Avenue, Woodstock, IL.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5006 E. Wonder Lake Road, Wonder Lake, IL at 2:00 pm.   Interment will follow in the Christ The King Catholic Cemetery.
