Duane E. Pohlman

Duane E. Pohlman, age 55, of Huntley, formerly of Woodstock, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home.

He was born on March 23, 1968 in Woodstock to Robert and Judith (Wilbrandt) Pohlman.

He married Alyson LaBue on October 1, 1994 at Grace Lutheran Church in Woodstock.

Duane worked for the Crystal Lake Post Office for 10 years; he then spent 25 years at Advantage Moving and Storage. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. He loved to talk sports with his son Jace, was a Bears and Cubs fan, and adopted a love for the Oregon Ducks. He loved working out and enjoying time with his loving family. Anyone who knew Duane knew he put others first and had a selfless soul.

He is survived by his wife, Alyson; son, Jace; his parents, Bob and Judy Pohlman; siblings, Randy Pohlman and Wendy O’Brien; his In-laws, Dave and Barb Hahn; sisters-in-law, Stefani Glaves and Katey (TJ) Hahn-Clifton and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N Seminary Ave. Woodstock, IL 60098.
