Dorothy (Langan) Sorensen

Dorothy (Langan) Sorensen  1923-2018, a longtime parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church, member of Legion of Mary and resident of Woodstock, Illinois returned to Our Lord Sunday Aug. 5, 2018 at A. G. Rhodes of Wesley Woods in Atlanta, GA. Dorothy, born in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska married Victor Sorensen in 1941.

Dorothy was a loving woman who enjoyed cooking, sewing and being with her family.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Karen (Ken), Donna (Robert), Barbara (William) and son, James, along with many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Carrie, husband, Victor, sisters, Luzetta, Ida, Mary, Mabel and Alice, brothers Elwood, Elmer and William, son, Allen and grandson, Jacob.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church 312 Lincoln Avenue, Woodstock from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Funeral Mass.  Interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Woodstock.
