Donald C. Wagner

Donald C. Wagner, age 72, of Delavan, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at St. Mary Hospital in Janesville, Wisconsin. Don was born July 27, 1951, in Woodstock, Illinois, to Harold C. and Lucille May (Wood) Wagner.

Don graduated from Woodstock High School in 1969, where he participated in Wrestling and Cross Country. He became an estimator for Woodstock Lumber in Woodstock, Illinois and Alexander Lumber in McHenry, Illinois. Don was also an architect and builder throughout his life. His love for projects and building things was endless. He also had a love for the great outdoors. Don loved to fish, hunt, and boat any chance he got. He will be deeply missed by many friends and family.

Don preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Lucille Wagner; and brother-in-law, Roy Wittmer.

He is survived by his daughters, Nichole (Barry) Jones of Traverse City, Michigan, and Lisa (Jim) Carpenter of Woodstock, Illinois; Three grandchildren, Dakota Norwick, Elliot Jones, and Cormac Jones; one sister, Sue Wittmer of Goodfield, Illinois; and a niece, Sarah (Joe) Roudis of Northville, Michigan.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave. Woodstock, IL 60098.
