Donald J. Eddy

Donald J. Eddy, age 89 passed away peacefully April 18, 2020 at Hyland Crossings Memory Care in Sun Prairie WI.

Donald was born in Woodstock Illinois, the son of Glenn and Martha (Gehrke) Eddy where he had his own construction company.  Donald later moved to a farm in the Montfort / Fennimore Wisconsin area where he farmed and ran his construction company for many years.   Donald loved riding horses, listening to the grand old opry and spending time with his granddaughter. His mind was always planning the next house he could build or what he could make in his woodworking shop.

He is survived by his two sons, Philip (Cheryl) Eddy and Bruce Eddy; a daughter, Dawn (James) Albrecht; grandchildren, Amy, Heidi, Katie, Madison, Morgan; his step children, Dan Cummins, Deborah Polkinghorn, and Denise Oxnem.  He is further survived by his three brothers LeRoy Eddy, Edward Eddy (Nancy), James (Sally) Eddy, and several nieces and nephews and great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, LaVern Eddy and an infant son Paul.

Private interment services were held in the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock, Illinois.
