Diane V. Schulz

Diane V. Schulz, 84, of Woodstock, died Saturday, July 22nd at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 16, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Harry W. Seager and Evelyn Seager. She married Marion "Bud" L. Schulz on September 26, 1959 in Chicago.

Diane worked as a clerk for Allstate, an administrative assistant to the principal of a school, and a secretary for a convent before retiring.

Diane was a very devoted and active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Woodstock. She enjoyed volunteering in the church office. Diane enjoyed researching her family's history through genealogy.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by two sons, Steven (Ellen) Schulz, and Michael (Renee) Schulz; six grandchildren, Daniel (Tami) Schulz, Brian Schulz, Matthew Schulz, Shannon Leonard, Sally Secker, and Emily Tilsy; three great-grandchildren, Benjamin Schulz, Evan Schulz, and Natalie Schulz; two sisters-in-law, Letha Schulz and Doris Schulz; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Bud" Schulz and her brother, Clyde (June) Seager.

A visitation and memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Grace Lutheran Church, 1300 Kishwaukee Valley Rd., in Woodstock. The visitation will commence at 9:30 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am with Rev. Amanda Bergstrom officiating.

Interment will be in the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
