Diana Maria Webster

 Diana Maria (Alvarez) Webster, 79, of Woodstock passed away peacefully on January 19, 2021, at home, with her beloved husband Robert (Bob) and loyal companion Lily by her side.

She was born May 9, 1941 in Cotulla, TX to Pedro (Pete) and Margarita Alvarez.  She married Bob on February 27, 1960.

Diana was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother/great grandmother.

She and Bob were blessed with 4 children Theresa (Dan Buss), Daniel (Beth), Ralph and Heather (Brett Heidtke).  Her greatest joy was becoming Grandma to her 8 grandchildren Jarrad (Becky), Jamie (Rob Ehlenburg), Tyler (Kate), Bryce (Allie), Tate and Taylor (Kayla), Payton and Aj, as well as 6 great grandchildren Sophia, Oliver, Hudson, Miranda, Carson and Bentley with another on the way.  She cherished all of them immensely and loved watching the paths their lives were taking them.  She also shared a special bond with her niece Olga Untiedt.

Diana worked for several years as a Pharmacy Technician starting at Buschkopf Pharmacy and then at Centegra until her retirement.  She was an avid quilter, baker, cook, walker and Ohio Buckeye fan (which was always a mystery to the rest of us).  She loved to share her annual tamales and salsa with family and friends.

In addition to being survived by her family she is also survived by her sister Maria Alvarez-Varilla, brother Alex (Barb), sister-in-law Jody (Pat McCormick) along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, beloved daughter-in-law Sheri, father-in-law Harry, mother-in-law Eleanor, brother-in-laws Dick and Pat along with nephew Jerry Untiedt.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 25, 2021 from 3:00pm until the time of the service at 6:00pm at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave. Woodstock IL 60098.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Gavers Cancer Foundation.
