Diana Knudsen Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Diana Marie Knudsen (Archambeault), 60, of Woodstock, Il announces her unexpected passing. She left us on May 8, 2020 peacefully at her home.

Diana was the youngest of three born to Bill and Joyce Archambeault on October 6, 1959 in Markham, Il. As a child she and family moved to the close-knit community of Hebron, Il where she made many lifelong friends.  She graduated from Alden Hebron High school in 1977. She spent many years caring for others as a nurse’s aide, a job she took much pride in and loved.

On July 28, 1984, she married the love of her life Ken Knudsen and started a family of their own and had two children, Patrick and Christina. Diana lived for her children and her grandchildren. Her face would light up whenever she would talk about them or see them. In fact, Diana could light up a room anywhere, with her wonderful laugh and a voice that could only be known as Diana’s. Always the life of the party, everyone who knew her loved her. She was a pillar in her family and will very much be missed.

Diana is survived by her loving husband, Ken Knudsen; son, Patrick Knudsen (Ashlee) of Rockford, IL.; daughter, Christina Brazeau (Chris) of Bryant, AR.; her sister, Michelle Archambeault of Delevan, WI.; her brother Dennis Archambeault of New Orleans, LA.; and 5 grandchildren, Giuliana,7; Ava,5; Eli,4; Cooper 5; and Charlie; 6 months and beloved nieces and a great niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering to honor Diana’s life will be held at a later date.
