Debra L. Klein, 65, of Woodstock passed away on Sunday April 3, 2022 at her home in Woodstock.
She was born in Woodstock on November 17, 1956 to Harold and Nancy (Foat) Beyer. On November 24, 1992 she married Jim Klein.
Deb worked as the Office Manager at Alliance Contractors for 35 years. She volunteered at Helping Paws for over 12 years. She made all the dogs feel as comfortable and loved as any shelter could. For many years Deb and her husband ran the Woodstock on the Square Auto Show and raised money for various local charities. Every Halloween they held a Food Drive for the local Food Pantry at their home. She was a member of the Woodstock Moose. She was known as a helper for any organization that needed her. Her favorite activity was spending time with her precious grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; her daughter Katie (Tony) Kuch; step daughter Rebecca (Dan) Schiess; grandchildren Vinny, Aria, Arlo, Sienna; step grandchildren Nathan and Matthew; mother Nancy Nusbaum; brother Donald (Karen) Beyer; sisters Vickie (Dave) Gallup and Sherry (Bob) Cown.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The visitation will be Thursday April 7, 2021 from 10 am until the 1 pm funeral service at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin and Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave. Woodstock, Illinois. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Helping Paws 2500 Harding Lane, Woodstock Illinois.
