Obituary

Dean E. Kirk, 74, of Woodstock passed away peacefully at home on July 23, 2023.

He was born June 22, 1949 in Altadena, California to Corky and Libby Kirk. Dean served in the Air Force Reserves following high school. On July 27, 1974 he was united to Joyce Wade in marriage.

Dean is survived by his wife, Joyce, son, Eli (Maria) Kirk of Majorca, Spain; daughter, Sarah (Ryan) Kohl of Nauvoo, Illinois, and son, Travis (Mandee) Kirk of Woodstock. Also surviving are his grandchildren Jonah Kirk, Evan and Catrina Kirk of Majorca, Spain, Teagan, Paxon, and Harper Kirk of Woodstock, and Elizabeth and Mesa Kohl of Nauvoo, Illinois. His sister, Christine (Charles) Mason and nephews Brent and Thomas Mason of California also survive.

Per Dean’s wishes, the family will have a private celebration of life at a later date. Cards of condolence may be sent to 4802 McCauley Rd Woodstock, IL 60098.
