After he graduated from High School, his employment transitioned to full time at Goodyear and continued on there until January of 2023 when he took his skills to the Kunes Chrysler Dodge dealership in Elkhorn, Wisconsin where he worked as a valuable and hardworking mechanic until the date of his death.

In July of 2021, through mutual friends, Dakota met the love of his life, his fiancé, Isabella (Bella) Van Dyke.

In addition to all things cars, Dakota enjoyed hunting, listening to music, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, hanging out with his cats, while always being willing to help others and lend a helping hand to those in need.
