Curtis Eugene Bruce

Curtis Eugene Bruce passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home in Woodstock, IL on May 22, 2020 at the age of 67.

Curt is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Nicky Bruce; grandson, Caden; and granddaughters, Elora, Karli and Amanda. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Curt was born on September 17, 1952 in Harvey, IL to Vernon “Red” and Harriet Bruce; the youngest of their three children.

Curt was an enthusiastic servant to his fellow man, an avid benefactor, and a dedicated follower of Christ. He gave much of himself to others through various causes and went on a number of mission trips, sharing his gifts as a nurse. He was an active member of his church and volunteered for the Senior Care Volunteer Network.

Curt had a great sense of humor and a passion for the arts and history. 

Curt will be laid to rest and interred at Oakland Cemetery in Woodstock, IL on Friday, May 29 in a private ceremony.
