Carol A. Kosirowski

Carol A. Kosirowski, 80, of Woodstock, passed away March 14, 2023 in Woodstock.

She was born in Chicago on June 23, 1942, the daughter of Rudolph and Ann (Kiefer) Wacek. She married Joseph Kosirowski on October 20, 1962 in Chicago.

Carol enjoyed working as a Legal Secretary for Hamer, Schuh and Cuda Law Firm in Woodstock for many years. She was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church-Hartland for over 30 years where she enjoyed volunteering her time. She was an amazing baker, loved sewing and quilting and enjoyed reading. She loved spending time with her family and adored time with her grandchildren. She was an extraordinary person that loved to see the joy in everybody.

She is survived by her children, Joseph E. (Erin) Kosirowski, Thomas J. (Maria) Kosirowski, David L. (Debra) Kosirowski, Karen (Michael) Lipan and Janet Thinger; grandchildren, Michael (Amanda) Kosirowski, Kevin Kosirowski, Ken (Leah) Kosirowski, Michelle (Austin) Matovich, Carolyn Kosirowski, Chris Kosirowski, Jenny Kosirowski, Lauren Lipan, David Lipan, Eddie Thinger and Sarah Thinger; brother, Harold Wacek and her nephews, Bill (Rachel) Wacek and Ray (Amy) Wacek.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband and a brother Rudolph Wacek.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 9:00am until 11:30am at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave Woodstock, IL 60098. Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 15012 St. Patrick Rd Woodstock, IL 60098 at 12:00pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery.
