Carol A. Richardson

Carol A. Richardson, age 59, of Woodstock, passed away April 1, 2021 in Woodstock.

She was born on December 25, 1961 in Rockford, the daughter of Robert and Janice (Remsey) Spraetz. She married Gordon Richardson.

Carol enjoyed teaching Spanish at Johnsburg High School for 32 years. After she retired, she enjoyed be a house wife, cooking and gardening. She had a great love for dogs and had a kind hearted soul that was always willing to help or talk with anybody. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband Gordon; brother, Erich P. (Sue) Spraetz, sister, Mary E. Williams; niece and nephews, Jaclyn C. Spraetz, Andrew G. Cherry, Kevin K. Cherry, and many cousins, aunts, uncle and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Kurt Spraetz.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 12:00 pm in the Oakland Cemetery in Woodstock, IL.
