Carol Nolan Obituary

Carol Ann Nolan passed away September 28, 2023 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington at the age of 87.

She was born on May 4, 1936 in Woodstock to Michael and Martha Gorski. On June 17, 1961 she married the love of her life, William (Bill) Nolan at St. Mary's in Woodstock.

Her greatest joy was her family. She treasured being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a homebody who proudly lived in Woodstock her entire life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ken, and daughter-in-law Dawn Nolan.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Scott) Becker and son, Richard (Kim) Nolan; grandchildren, Rob (Meghan) Luse, Shauna and Jack Becker, Lindsay Garmon, Amanda Nolan, Jaden and Devin Mroczenski; great grandchildren, Violet Luse and Killian and Cassian Garmon; sister, Pam (Bob) O'Neill; sister-in-law, Darlene Gorski and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Avenue, Woodstock from 9:00 am until the 10:30 am Funeral Mass. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
