Brian Wojtas Obituary

Brian D. Wojtas 59, of Woodstock passed away Thursday January 14, 2021 at Northwestern Hospital- McHenry.

He was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 24, 1961 to Gerald and Patricia (Dickerson) Wojtas. He married Antigone “Goney” Pappas on May 27, 1995.

Brian was a loving Father, devoted Husband and much-loved Son. He worked many years at Woodstock Lumber as a Salesmen. He was an avid Chicago sports fan. He was loved and will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his wife Antigone; his father and step mother Gerald (Pam) Wojtas; two sons Nicholas and Andrew; two sisters Judy (Ken) Labelle and Barbara (Dan) Kissees; Siblings in laws John (Teresa) Pappas, Venetia (James) Roumbos, Louis Pappas, Thomas Pappas, sister-in-law Carmen Pappas; and many nieces and nephews; and his best friend and best man David Romero.

He was preceded in death by mother Patricia Dickerson and her husband James Dickerson and brother, Scott Wojtas.

Services will be held from 10 am until the noon memorial service on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Schneider~Leucht~Merwin & Cooney 1211 N. Seminary Ave, Woodstock, IL.  The memorial service will be live-streamed - click on the following link: https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/10287741. Covid restrictions apply.
