Brian C. Weiskopf passed away peacefully at his home on January 8th, 2021.
He was born on July 22nd, 1975 in Libertyville, Illinois to Carl and Ann (nee Mueller) Weiskopf. He grew up in Wonder Lake, Illinois, often joking “once a Wonder Laker, always a Wonder Laker.” He graduated from Woodstock High School where he was a standout basketball and baseball player. He continued his education at Columbia College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. He excelled in Technical Sales for CDW and Western Digital.
His greatest accomplishment was being a father to three amazing sons, Trevor, Evan and Devyn, whom he loved with all his heart.
Brian was also passionate about grilling, cooking, gardening and fishing. He was an excellent host and we couldn’t wait to partake in his savory dishes, from Lomo al Trapo to French trimmed lamb chops. He also loved his Cubs and wouldn’t miss a chance to see U2 in concert. His quick wit will be sorely missed.
Brian is survived by his three sons, his parents, his brothers Dan (Sara) Weiskopf and Kevin (Brenda) Weiskopf and adoring nieces and nephews Rachel, Patrick, Lucy, Daniel, Gemma and John. He is also survived by his dear friend, Malene Sorensen.
