Barbara Dowey

Barbara Dowey, age 79, passed away March 6, 2023 in Woodstock.

She was born on July 10, 1943 in Palatine. Barbara was the daughter of Herb and Lillian (Grandt) Kreft. She married Bernard “Bud” on October 12, 1968 in Marengo.

Barbara worked for Woodstock Wire Works for 15 years as well as Automatic Liquid Packaging in Woodstock.

She enjoyed crafting, bingo and gardening. She loved visiting with family and grandson Gunner.

She is survived by her mother, son’s Brian and Bruce and a grandson Gunner.

She was preceded in death by her father and husband.
