Babzett E. Sherfield, 61, of Woodstock, passed away August 4, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born on October 21, 1961 in McHenry, the daughter of James and Judith (McKee) Johnson. She married Randolph Sherfield on December 22, 1989.
Babzett worked in the medical field for over forty years. She was a wonderful caregiver and a devoted wife and mother. Babz was a wonderful cook and enjoyed watching birds, crafting beautiful jewelry for family and friends as well as taking care of her garden.
She is survived by her husband Randy; children, Matthew (Jessie) Sorenson, Jennifer Sherfield and Jaclyn (Justin) Cheever; grandchildren, Brayden, Brooklyn, Ethan and Emily; brother, Lance (Debbie) Johnson; sister, Carol Loomis; mother-in-law, Joan Sherfield; sisters-in-law, Jodi (Andy) Merritt and Sherry Hanson (Bernie).
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Judith Johnson; brother, Eric Johnson and father-in-law, Don Sherfield and brother-in-law Terry Loomis.
Visitation will be Friday, August 11, 2023 from 3:00pm until the service at 6:30pm at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney 1211 N Seminary Ave Woodstock IL 60098.
