Arthur Peart

Arthur Peart, 96, of Woodstock, Illinois, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 12, 2023, at White Oaks in McHenry, Illinois.

He was born on July 27, 1927, in Burt, Michigan. Arthur was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Arthur was a dedicated Sales Representative, working for 53 years for U.S. Graphite Company. He was known for his exceptional work ethic, gregarious personality, and commitment to his profession.

Once retired, Arthur was able to indulge in his passion of riding his motorcycles, which he rode until 80 years old. He took up a hobby of building model trains, which he enjoyed sharing with his grandsons. Arthur also loved spending time outdoors and was passionate about working in his yard and always helping others. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and never missed an opportunity to attend his children's and grandchildren's activities. He cherished his trips to Florida to visit family and celebrating holidays and birthdays with his treasured family.

Arthur Peart will be deeply missed by his wife of 68 years, Barbara Peart; children Connie (Keith) Carlson, Jeffrey (Leslie) Peart, and David (Joan) Peart; his grandsons, James Carlson and Jonathan Carlson; Jordan (Tori) Peart, and Brandon (Teghan) Peart; great granddaughter Paisley Peart; Michael (Claire) Peart and Nicholas Peart, along with many family and friends.

A private family service is planned for Thursday, October 19, to honor and celebrate Arthur's life.

These organizations are close to the family's heart, and donations in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
