Armilla J. Streit

Armilla J. Streit, 97, formerly of Cary, passed away on Monday September 13, 2021 at the home of her son in Marengo.

She was born on December 2, 1924 to Hubert and Susie (Walton) Shafer. She married Paul E. Streit on June 28, 1947.

She loved spending time with her family; and enjoyed camping doing needlework.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Streit; two grandchildren, Dan Streit Jr. and Dillon Streit; six grandchildren; three brothers, James, Marion and Michael Shafer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and a son, Paul Streit Jr.

There will be a visitation from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday September 17, 2021 at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Avenue, Woodstock. Interment will follow in the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock.
