Wayne G. Frame

Wayne G. Frame, 85, of Woodstock, passed away on January 6, 2018 at Valley Hi in Hartland.

He was born June 8, 1932 in Woodstock to Charles and Ann (Larsen) Frame.  He married Olive Slavin on November 19, 1955 in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hartland.

Wayne was a veteran, serving in the Marine Corp during the Korean War. He served on the USS Monrovia in the Communications Division.  He worked for Commonwealth Edison for 40 years.  After retirement, he spent many winters at his home in the Rio Grande Valley area of Texas, where he volunteered at his church for Habitat for Humanity projects.

In earlier years, he coached with the Woodstock Little League, and for St. Mary School Athletic Basketball program.  Wayne was a member of St. Mary Church, the Woodstock Knights of Columbus, the VFW, and the Woodstock Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his sons, Marc (Carol) Frame, Gregory (Amy) Frame; grandchildren, Elise (Tyler) Zacharias, Christopher Frame, Caroline Frame; great granddaughter, Margaret Zacharias; and a brother, Ronald (Gina) Frame.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive M. Frame on June 25, 2014.

Services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Avenue, Woodstock with visitation from 9:00 am until the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am.  Interment will follow in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Hartland.
