Timothy Downes

Timothy Downes, 62, of Woodstock, Illinois, passed away on Sunday April 1, 2018, peacefully in his sleep at home.

He was a 1974 graduate of Woodstock High School and was a lifelong resident of Woodstock. Tim and his wife Nancy were married for 31 years. He was in outside sales in the corrugated packing business. Timothy was an avid golfer and gardener with the wonderful sense of humor of a true prankster. Tim was a loving husband, father, brother and son.

Tim is survived by his wife, Nancy; his mother, Mary; his daughter, Eva; his son, Nolan, sister, Marylou; sister, Suzanne; brother Bill; many cousins, extended family and good friends.

His father, William; his sister, Jeannette; and his sister, Maureen, precede him in death.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral home located at 1211 North Seminary Avenue, Woodstock, IL, 60098. The visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a remembrance service at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the Woodstock Food Pantry would be appreciated.
