Dick was such a nice man. My Navy Recruiter introduced me to him in 1974, and whenever I came back on leave, I'd stop in and say hi! Dick always remembered me, even 10 and 20 years later, and always had a smile and a kind word to say. He will be missed sorely...you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Our deepest sympathies with the loss of Dick. I remember his smiling face every time he came for coffee at Lang's News Depot where I worked in 1970 - he was always happy and laughing - that is how I will always remember him. He was such a great friend to my parents and I will never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Dick was a wonderful barber. My husband always went to the shop on Main Street and when he would come home I would always check his hair and I could tell every time if Dick cut it because he did it just right. God Bless his family at this difficult time.
