Maria De Los Angeles Hernandez, 92, passed away on December 24, 2017 at Crossroads Care Center in Woodstock.
Maria was born in Moca, Puerto Rico on March 12, 1925 to Pastor and Romana (Maldonado) Hernandez. She was a resident of McHenry County since 2001.
She worked hard as a clerical worker for the government for 25 years. Maria was a loving mother, very religious and had a strong faith her entire life.
She is survived by her son Oscar Acevedo Hernandez of Lake in the Hills and a brother Jose Hernandez.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Avenue, Woodstock. A prayer service will be held at 12:00 PM.
