Lorraine M. Starzec

Lorraine M. Starzec, 93, of Woodstock, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the JourneyCare Hospice in Woodstock surrounded by her beloved family.  She married John C. Starzec on March 19, 1977 in Chicago.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Mark) Haydysch; and a son in law, Joseph Rinaldi.  She was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.  She is also survived by a sister, Theresa Wagner; and two brothers, Peter Podgorski, and Mike Podgorski.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John in 2005; and a daughter, Helen Rinaldi; and a brother, Edward Podgorski and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation  will  be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave in Woodstock from 10:00 am until the Funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Woodstock.
