Linda L. Coss

Linda L. Coss, age 69, passed away Sunday, April 29th in Woodstock surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 15, 1948 in Elgin, IL to Edward and Rose Ann (Gallagher) Broederdorf. She married the late J.C Coss on August 13th, 1993.

Linda was a homemaker most of her life.  She loved quilting, stitching, sewing or watching Jeopardy with friends.  She was quite the drawing artist as well.  She had an ability to make everyone around her laugh with her great sense of humor.

She was most proud of being a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother Rose Ann, sons; James (Lisa) Furst, Timothy Furst, Robert (Holly) Furst, daughters Marcy (Mark) Estenson and Amanda (Kip Rose) Furst, grandchildren; Jessica, Sarah, Thomas, Josh, Faith, Jacob, Jimmy, Timmy, and Grant, sisters; Edith, Ruth, and Karen,  brothers; Les, Jim, John, Roger and Ken and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her friends in the community and by the ladies of Senior Lane.

She was preceded in death by her father; husband J.C. who was the love of her life, long time companion Duane “Dewey” McDonald, her best friend in the whole world Gail Orr and her brother Edward.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave. Woodstock on Saturday May 5, 2018 from 9 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 am. Pastor Tom Rogers will officiate.
