Greta B. (Hutson) Carlisle

Greta B. Carlisle, 101, of Woodstock, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at Hearthstone Manor in Woodstock.

She was born on November 18, 1915 in Woodstock to Mark A. and Lulu M. (Francisco) Hutson.  She married James R. Carlisle on October 24, 1936 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Woodstock.

Greta was a devout Catholic and a lifetime member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she served with several ministries.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Eugene (Phyllis) Carlisle of LaCross WI; two daughters, Mary Berkeimer of Phoenix AZ, and Bernice Nevismal of Woodstock; as well as seventeen grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Thomas Carlisle, and Philip Carlisle; and three grandsons, Walter Berkeimer, Robert Carlisle, and Timothy Carlisle.

A graveside service will be celebrated at 11:15 am on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Woodstock.
